FINANCIAL TIMES
"The sensation of the vibrations so close to the body worked much more intensely than other sound healing London sessions I've tried, and I left much more relaxed. Chebysheva's warm, holistic approach as a sound therapist meant that, by the end of our session, I even felt comfortable with her turning one of her treasured Tibetan bowls over my head, balancing it on my skull, and playing it with a mallet. This delivers a fast burst of stress relief — a way to quickly release tension. She even keeps a bowl in her car to use when stressed in traffic."
COUNTRY AND TOWN HOUSE
"I experienced this sound bath London session in Notting Hill, resting comfortably on mats with blankets and eye masks while live sound filled the space. The session was sound-led and minimally verbal, creating a calm, contained environment that allowed the nervous system to slow down and the mind to settle without effort or instruction."

What it is
Private Sanctuary Sound Sessions
Private Sanctuary sessions take place in a private Notting Hill space and are offered as one-to-one or shared sessions for two people.
A quiet, non-invasive 60-minute sound session held in a private Notting Hill space. The session is sound-led and unhurried, offering a contained environment designed to support rest and nervous system settling.
Sessions are played using Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls® by Crystal Tones® and Tibetan bowls. Where appropriate, bowls may be placed gently on the body to allow vibration to be felt physically, supporting a deeper sense of grounding and ease.
Each session includes a short, simple breathing practice to support arrival, alongside a subtle scent ritual designed to help the nervous system soften without effort.
Private sessions also feature our Super-Grade Smoky Quartz Crystal Tones® Alchemy Bowl-an exceptionally rare instrument known for its deeply stabilising, grounding resonance.
The pace is slow, the space is held, and nothing is required of you beyond rest.
Group sessions
Group sound baths are held at Life Centre Notting Hill Studio.
We offer monthly Full Moon sessions, alongside occasional weekend group sessions. Guests are invited to lie comfortably on mats, with blankets and eye masks provided, allowing the body to fully settle.
Sessions feature Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls® by Crystal Tones® (Official Partner), played in layered tones, with gentle breath at the beginning and a short scent ritual to support arrival and ease. What we Offer
Meet the Visionary Behind Your Sound Healing & Wellness Journey
founder
Sound Wellness was founded by Svetlana Chebysheva, a sound therapist and wellness practitioner whose work centres on nervous system regulation, rest, and sensory care.
Svetlana’s approach is grounded in both professional training and lived experience. She is accredited by the Sound Energy Medicine Practitioners Association (SEMPA) and trained in wellbeing science, with a background in designing experiences that feel calm, intentional, and emotionally safe.
Her sessions are held with care and restraint - not to fix or analyse, but to create the conditions where the body can settle and recalibrate in its own time.
Alongside her private practice, Svetlana’s work has been recognised by publications including Condé Nast Traveller and the Financial Times. She also lectures at university level on experience design and social behaviour, bringing academic insight into quietly restorative, real-world applications.
This work is for those who value depth without intensity, and expertise without performance

Sound Healing & Sound Bath London – FAQs
-
Sound healing is a sound-led, sensory practice that uses instruments such as crystal and Tibetan bowls, gongs, and chimes to create sustained vibrations. These vibrations support deep rest, help the nervous system settle, and invite a sense of internal balance without effort or performance.
-
During a sound bath session, you lie down and rest while layers of sound are played around you. The vibrations create a steady sensory environment that allows the nervous system to slow down, the mind to quieten, and the body to settle into a state of deep rest.
-
Sound baths are suited to people who feel mentally overloaded, emotionally stretched, or physically tired, and who want a structured way to rest and reset. They can be especially supportive during periods of stress, change, or sustained responsibility, when the nervous system needs time to slow down and recalibrate.
-
A sound therapist works primarily with live sound and vibration, using instruments to create an environment where the body and nervous system can settle without effort. A meditation teacher typically guides attention through instruction or mental focus. While the approaches are different, they can complement one another by supporting rest and awareness in different ways.
-
Sound baths are often associated with reduced stress, improved rest, steadier emotional regulation, and a greater sense of mental clarity. Many people experience the session as a way to slow the nervous system down and create space for recovery.
-
A single sound bath can offer a meaningful sense of rest and clarity. Some people choose to return regularly monthly or at key points of stress or transition as a way to support ongoing regulation and create space to reset when needed.
-
We offer both private and group sound sessions in Notting Hill, each designed to create a calm, contained space for rest and nervous system settling.
-
Sound work can be experienced alongside other forms of support people may already be using, such as therapy or wellbeing practices. It is not a replacement for medical or psychological care, but can offer a non-verbal space for rest and nervous system settling.
